The first amateur boxing world championship to offer prize money in the 47-year history of the tournament. The historic tournament promises to usher in a new era of amateur Boxing, with top champions being rewarded with prize money with placing in the medals. Each Gold medalist will receive $100,000 USD, Silver medalists will receive $50,000 USD and Bronze medalists will receive $25,000 USD. The two-week tournament will feature around-the-clock live coverage.
