Leading international boxing rights distributor and sports marketing firm Octapixx LIVE is proud to announce that it has entered into a long-term distribution agreement with South Africa-based Golden Gloves Promotions to market and distribute Golden Gloves boxing events to broadcasters worldwide.
A nominee for the World Boxing Council’s 2013 Promoter of the Year Award, Golden Gloves Promotions has had a banner year, promoting multiple world championship events including the innovative Monte-Carlo Million Dollar Super Four Tournament, which took place in March and July in Monaco.
Octapixx LIVE and Golden Gloves formally kick off their newly-minted relationship on November 9, as Golden Gloves’ high-octane FIGHTING FORCE event will be seen on television by millions of sports fans around the world.
In the co-featured main events, the world’s most dangerous minimumweight, Hekkie Budler (23-0, 6 KO), defends his IBO championship and competes for the WBA interim championship against Argentina’s Hugo Verchelli (11-1, 6 KO); and IBO super middleweight champion Tommy Oosthuizen (21-0, 13 KO) takes on a formidable challenge in Ezequiel Maderna (20-1, 13 KO).
Live from Emperor’s Palace in Kempton Park, South Africa, with a television start time of 17:30 GMT, this highly-anticipated event will be broadcast internationally on SuperSport in Africa, beIN Sport USA, Al Jazeera Sport in the Middle East, TyC Sports in Argentina, beIN Sport France, and on many more broadcasters worldwide.
