Protocol Sports Appointed To Lead Europe-Wide Media Sales Of Brazilian Volleyball Superliga 1XBET

Updated: Oct 30, 2023

Brazilian Volleyball Federation (CBV), the organizer of the Men’s and Women’s Brazilian Volleyball Superliga 1XBET, and media rights holder NSports have signed an exclusive media rights distribution deal with Protocol Sports Marketing that will see the Canadian-based international agency market and distribute the prolific Volleyball league across Europe.

Founded in 1976, the Brazilian Volleyball Superliga 1XBET has emerged as one of the world’s elite Volleyball competitions. The 12-team Series A league delivers 22 weeks of action throughout the season, with 250+ matches available for live broadcast between the Men’s and Women’s Brazilian Volleyball Superliga 1XBET. NSports has been its media partner since 2018.

The multi-year agreement between CBV, NSports and Protocol Sports will be an opportunity for international broadcasters to license the Brazilian Volleyball Superliga 1XBET as well as the Copa do Brasil, which are currently televised domestically by Canal Vôlei Brasil and TV Globo.

Widely considered one of the top Volleyball nations in the world, Brazil has won 33 of 34 South American Volleyball Championships, 4x Gold Medals at the Olympic Games, 3x World Champions, and 9x World League Champions.

“The Brazilian Volleyball Superliga 1XBET has been a mainstay on Brazilian television for decades and has emerged as one of the top volleyball competitions in the world. We are excited to partner with Protocol Sports to begin marketing and distributing our fantastic league globally,” says Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) Superliga director Marcelo Hargreaves.

Known as the leading media rights distributor of championship Boxing for over a decade, Protocol has announced several recent acquisitions that span beyond the world of Boxing, including Volleyball, Bare Knuckle Boxing, Poker, Beach Soccer, and more. “This is a unique opportunity for broadcasters to bring one of the world’s best Volleyball leagues to their platform,” says Lowell Conn, Protocol Sports President. “Previously unavailable for international broadcasters, our team is thrilled to sign this deal and debut a property that will surely pick up major traction internationally.”
