Boxing's Elite Talent Compete in Serbia on October 25, 2021 to November 6, 2021
Protocol Sports Marketing is delighted to announce that it has been appointed to be the exclusive media rights distributor for the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Men's World Boxing Championships, taking place in Belgrade, Serbia from October 25, 2021 to November 6, 2021.
Just months after the successful Tokyo Olympics, many of the world's elite Boxers return to the ring at this year's historic AIBA Men's World Boxing Championships, which will be the first-ever to offer prize money. Each Gold medalist will receive $100,000 USD. Silver medalists will receive $50,000 USD. Bronze medalists will receive $25,000 USD.
"[This] is the first time AIBA will reward medalists of the world championships financially, and this is how it should be," says AIBA President Umar Kremlev. "The Money is well-deserving taking into account the years of preparations required to earn a place at AIBA's top tournament and the efforts made."
This past month, AIBA selected Premier Management Group to oversee rights distribution for the upcoming Men's World Boxing Championships. Premier Management selected Protocol Sports to manage global media sales and distribution.

"Introducing prize money to a tournament that is already filled with passion and drama at the highest level will only provide for more compelling fights," says Alperovich.
